There will be no registration fee, but all participants must register by March 31, 2007 (registration has ended.)


The Details

"We honor Yoram best by continuing to pursue first class scientific research in the areas of his most passionate interests."

In this spirit, we will gather for a 3 day symposium of invited speakers who will present recent original research in the following fields:

  • Passive remote sensing of the aerosols, clouds and the Earth's surface
  • Active remote sensing of clouds and aerosols
  • Aerosols and climate
  • Aerosol field campaigns
  • Future satellite missions

Speakers are by invitation only.

Following the symposium and continuing to the closing date of August 1, 2007, we welcome all invited speakers as well as audience participants to submit a journal article to the Yoram J. Kaufman special issue of the Journal of Geophysical Research.
